General aviation training hasn’t kept pace with the aircraft themselves. Today’s planes are faster, more complex, and more capable—yet much of GA training still relies on outdated sims with little immersion or realism.

Flytpath was born from a simple, yet powerful idea: that airline-grade simulator technology should be available to all pilots—not just those in airline transport or corporate aviation. Our founders and industry partners—aviation professionals, instructors, and engineers—set out to bridge that gap.

The result is a purpose-built, full-motion training ecosystem that replicates the physical, visual, and decision-making environment of real flight—all within a cost-effective, FAAcompliant AATD (pending approval). We’re launching with the FP7+, modeled on the Cirrus G7+—a platform recognized for innovation and safety—but our mission extends beyond one aircraft type. We aim to modernize how pilots train across types, experience levels, and operations.

Howard Salzberg is a multi-engine, instrument-rated commercial pilot and aviation entrepreneur with over 30 years of executive leadership experience. Before co-founding Flytpath Aviation, he served as Executive Director of one of the country’s premier residential summer camps, where he managed large-scale operations, led high-performing teams, and built enduring educational programs.

In addition to his leadership at Flytpath, Howard serves as a Strategic Advisor to Scotland’s most immersive flight simulator centre, which offers fixed-base B737 and A320 platforms as well as full- motion C172 experiences. The facility supports qualified pilots with airline preparation, failure management, and CRM training, while also serving corporate clients and private aviators.

Howard brings strategic insight and operational discipline to aviation—leading the development of next-generation simulation platforms designed to raise the standard of general aviation training. His work combines real-world flying experience with a deep commitment to safety, access, and innovation in pilot education.

Dave Boyle is an Oceanic Training Captain for the largest airline in Europe, an aviation entrepreneur with over 17 years of global flight experience, holds pilot licenses under UK CAA, FAA and EASA authorities and has logged more than 4,000 hours on the B737 across Europe. He previously served as a British Army infantry marksman and currently holds the rank of pilot officer in the Royal Air Force Reserves.

As Co-Founder and President of Flytpath Aviation, Dave leads the development of XR-integrated simulation platforms grounded in real-world flying and operational rigor. His expertise spans commercial airline operations, instructor development, and next-generation training systems built for realism and resilience.

In addition to his airline and simulator work, Dave is the owner and director of Ascent Aviation in Glasgow, Scotland—home to one of the UK’s most immersive flight simulation centers. Dave pairs deep operational insight with a passion for innovation—advancing flight simulation technology to deliver safer, more immersive training experiences for the next generation of pilots.

Randall is an ATP-rated pilot, FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE), and accomplished instructor with decades of experience in corporate, charter, and mission-based aviation. His career spans a wide range of aircraft operations—from multi-crew jet transports to advanced single-engine platforms—serving in both domestic and international contexts. He has trained hundreds of pilots, conducted evaluations at every certification level, and remains a trusted voice in high-stakes flight training. He also holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master Mariner license, underscoring a lifelong dedication to operational precision, safety, and leadership in complex environments.

His work with Flytpath reflects a deep belief that exceptional training saves lives—and that every pilot, regardless of background or aircraft type, deserves access to the tools and standards once reserved for elite aviation programs.

Lisa Salzberg brings a fresh perspective to aviation. An educator and creative strategist for over three decades, she’s led programs that connect, inspire, and build community—skills she now applies to Flytpath’s brand, storytelling, and outreach.

Though not a pilot herself, Lisa is no stranger to aviation. She and her husband, Howard, have owned and flown multiple aircraft over the years, and she’s spent countless hours in the right seat—developing a genuine love of flight and a deep respect for the discipline it demands.

At Flytpath, Lisa helps shape how the company shows up in the world—crafting a brand that reflects its mission, speaks to its audience, and elevates the pilot training experience.

Our first device is purpose-built to support pilots training in the Cirrus SR22 G7+ platform. From sidestick feel to flight behavior, the experience is designed to reflect the aircraft’s unique characteristics—providing pilots with an immersive, high-fidelity environment that builds confidence, sharpens skills, and delivers a deeply authentic experience. But Cirrus is just the beginning.
